Dark ambient projekat ARKANE, svojim poslednjim albumom Mesmeric Masquerade Seduction, nastavlja da zadivljuje muzičke sladokusce. Maske igraju veliku ulogu u stvaranju muzike kod ovog umetnika. Muzika je mistična, egzotična, potpuno nas čini opuštenim. Album ima sedam pesama. Fizičko izdanje zaustavlja dah. Maska je već prisutna na samoj cover fotografiji albuma. Zaintrigirani krećemo sa slušanjem.

Prva numera Mesmeric Masquerade Seduction, prisutan je nežan ženski glas prepun melanholije. To se nastavlja i sa numerama Mesmersed Seductrise i Mesmerising Masquerade. Nismo ni svesni da smo stavili maske i potpuno se prepustili muzici. Melodija nastavlja da bude ona prava i čini da mi uživamo. Opčinjeni smo. Numerom Masqueara Mesmerised, naše zadovoljstvo raste. Opet ženski glas je prisutan i sve je savršeno. Ovaj projekat definitivno zaslužuje svu našu pažnju, a tek smo na polovini albuma. Numerom Mesmerism Seductiva, doživljavamo ekstazu. Uživamo u slušanju najbolje numere na albumu (lični utisak). Glas božanstven! Muzika sklada! Jedna totalno savršena harmonija. Muzika koja zavodi. Reči nam nedostaju da opišemo šta osećamo, ostaje nam samo uživanje. Numerom Mascarada Sedition, igra pod maskama se nastavlja. Umetnik je prisutan i nastavlja da nas oduševljava. To su te nežne melodije, koje krase ovaj album. Eksperimentisanje sa muzikom se nastavlja i u poslednjoj numeri La Masquerada Mystique. Klavijature uz sveprisutni ženski glas na jedan mističan glas pozivaju nas na bal pod maskama. Uh, kakav album!

Utisci? Misli su nam zbrkane, reči nedostaju. Ne zato što ih nemamo, već zato što nas je muzika potpuno opila i bacila na kolena. Ovaj album je toliko dobar, da ćete dragi čitaoci zanemeti već na prvom slušanju. Predstavlja jedno potpuno uživanje za ljubitelje dark ambient zvuka. Sa druge strane, moram da izrazim negodovanje što veći broj magazina i vebzina nije propratio ovo fantastično izdanje, jer ono to svakako zaslužuje. Naime, već nekoliko godina pratim rad umetnika, koji stoji iza imena ARKANE i svakom svojom notom, ostavlja me bez daha.

ARKANE - Mesmeric Masquerade Seduction

Dark ambient project ARKANE, his latest album Mesmeric Masquerade Seduction, continues to amaze music aficionados. Masks play a major role in creating music with the artist. The music is mystical, exotic, totally makes us relaxed. The album has seven songs. The physical release your breath away. The mask is already present on the cover photo album. Intrigued, we set out to listen to the album.

The first track is Mesmeric Masquerade Seduction, there is a gentle female voice full of melancholy. It continues with tracks Mesmersed Seductrise and Mesmerising Masquerade. We are not even aware that we put masks and completely enjoy the music. Melody continues to be the right one and it seems that we enjoy. We are mesmerized. Track Masqueara Mesmerised, our satisfaction increases. Again female voice is present and everything is perfect. This project definitely deserves all our attention, and we are only halfway through the album. Track Mesmerism Seductive, we experience the ecstasy. We enjoy listening to the best track on the album (personal impression). The voice is divine! Music Fund! A totally perfect harmony. The music that seduces. Words are missing to describe what we feel, we can only enjoy. Track Mascarada Sedition, a masquerade game continues. The artist is present and continues to delight us. Those are the gentle melodies that adorn this album. Experimenting with music continues in the final numerical La Masquerade Mystique. Keyboards with ubiquitous female voice in a mystical voice calling us to a masquerade ball. Wow, what kind of album!

Impressions? Think we jumbled words missing. Not because I do not have them, but because our music is totally drunk and fell to his knees. This album is so good that you, dear readers speechless at the first listening. It represents one full enjoyment for fans of dark ambient sound. On the other hand, I must express my displeasure as many magazine and webzine did not follow up this fantastic release, because what it deserves. In fact, for several years now follow the work of the artist behind ARKANE and with every note, leaves me breathless.

Muzičku scenu Grčke pomno pratim dugi niz godina. Posebnu pažnju privukao mi je umetnik koji stoji iza imena ARKANE. Svoju muziku definiše kao neoclassical-umetnost pod maskama. U svojim pesmama izražava estetiku čistoće i muzici daje znatno veći nivo. U razgovoru sa njim za naš Celtic - Slavic Webzine Serbia, pričali smo o budućim planovima, stanju u kojem se muzika nalazila pre, a u kojem je danas.

2. Muzički pravac definišeš kao Dark ambient. Šta je uticalo na to da stvaraš takvu muziku?

Arkane: Počeo sam da slušam legendarnu Cold meat industriju još 1996. godine, počevši sa projektima kao što su Arcana, The Protagonist, In Slaughter Natives i drugi. Ne treba ni izostaviti činjenicu da sam bio suosnivač pagan neofolk projekta Daemonia Nymphe, koji je zvučao slično ovom žanru Dark alternativne muzičke scene. Dakle, kada je Black metal muzika zamrla krajem devedesetih i nije bilo mnogo interesa, pored toga što sam tada napustio Daemonia Nymphe 1999. ja mislim... i odlučio sam da krenem svojim putem, kao one man projekat xARKANEx...ostalo je istorija...

3. Izdao si nekoliko albuma, koji su dobro prihvaćeni kod publike. Kako si zadovoljan svojim poslednjim albumom?

Arkane: Arkane Elitism iz 2002. i Enraptured Serene Mesmerism iz 2008. godine, su zaista dobro prihvaćeni, i dali Arkane, dobro ime i mesto u Dark underground sceni toga vremena... Nažalost album Mesmeric Masquerade Seduction iz 2013. godine, nije ispunio moja očekivanja. Uglavnom zbog činjenice da je nastala nova era u muzici , kao što je smrt Myspace-a, rast Youtube-a i torrent-a uopšte plus ekonomska kriza... U današnje vreme samo iskreni fanovi kupuju fizička izdanja albuma, a informacije preko fejsbuka i interneta totalno su moj poslednji album gurnuli u zaborav...

4. U tvojoj muzici često su prisutne maske, što je vrlo interesantno. Šta, one, te maske predstavljaju za tebe?

Arkane: "Maske otkrivaju realnost duša. Sve dok niko ne vidi ko smo, možemo reći najintimnije detalje našeg života...maske predstavljaju skrivenu apokrifnu misteriju Nepoznatog...mističnog...opskurnog..."

5. Kakvi su tvoji planovi za budućnost?

Arkane: Nažalost, ne može biti planova i inspiracija za budućnost, muzička industrija je mrtva tako da šta god ARKANE učini od sada biće potpuno da zadovoljim potrebu za stvaranjem Umetnosti za moju ličnu satisfakciju. Ipak želim da komponujem novi materijal, koji će biti drugačiji ovog puta, manje atmospheric i ethereal, a više martial industrial.

6. I za kraj šta bi poručio čitaocima u Srbiji? Možda neki tvoj koncert u Srbiji?

Arkane: Želim da kažem da sam bio u Srbiji više puta u prošlosti, uglavnom u Beogradu i Nišu. Mi Grci, osećamo mnogo zahvalnosti za Srbe kao što znaš...zasigurno srpske devojke su najlepše u Evropi. Ne mogu da dočekam da se vratim jednog dana, ne zbog koncerta, jer je ARKANE uglavnom studio projekat...SLAVA SRBIJII!!!

2. Your musical direction is dark ambient. What has influenced you create such music?

Arkane: I begun Listening To The Legendary COLD MEAT INDUSTRY Scene Back In 1996 , Started with projects Like ARCANA , THE PROTAGONIST, IN SLAUGHTER NATIVES etc -Not To omit the fact that i was the co-founder of the Pagan Neo Folk Project DAEMONIA NYMPHE which sounded Similar to this Genre of Dark Alternative Music all together..
So when Black Metal Music Died In The Late 90s And Lost Interest , in addition to the fact that I left DAEMONIA NYMPHE in 1999 I think..I decided To go My own Way As an one man Project xARKANEx ...The Rest Is History....

3. Arkane went so far have several albums, which were well received by the audience. How are you satisfied with your latest album?

Arkane: ARCANE ELITISM of the year 2002 and ENRAPTURED SERENE MESMERISM of the year 2008 were well received indeed and gave ARKANE a good name in the Dark Underground scene of the time....
Unfortenately 2013 Album MESMERIC MASQUERADE SEDUCTION didnt meet my Expectations ..
Mainly due to the fact that a new Era arose in the music industry such as the death Of myspace ,the ignition of Youtube and torrent in general plus the economic crisis ..
Nowdays Only true Hardcore Fans buy physical Cds and the overinformation on facebook and internet in general totally left my last album in obscurity..

4. In your music often present mask, which is very interesting. What do these masks represent for you?

Arkane: “Masquerades disclose the reality of souls. As long as no one sees who we are, we can tell the most intimate details of our life...masks represent the hidden apocryphal mystery of the Unknown..Mystique , Obscure .."

5. What are your plans for the future?

Arkane: Unfortenately there can be no plans or aspirations for the future , Music Industry is dead so whatever ARKANE will do from now on will totally be to fullfill my need for creating Art Just for my personal satisfaction.. However I would Like To compose New Material which will be different this Time , Less Atmospheric And Ethereal as My previous works and more Martial Powerful And Industrial...

6. And in the end what to tell the readers in Serbia? Maybe a concert in Serbia?

Arkane: I would Like To say That I have been To Serbia several times in the past , Mostly To Beograd And Nis.. We Greeks Feel a lot Of appreciation For Serbians as you know ..For Sure Serbian Girls Are The most beautiful In Eyropa -I cannot Wait To Be back There someday , not For Live Shows Though As ARKANE Is Mainly A studio project ..SLAWA SERBIJA !!

Španski Medieval-Pagan-Folk bend Cuélebre, inspiraciju traži u pejzažu Iberijskog poluostrva i mitologiji vremena pre Rimljana. Nezaobilazan je i keltski uticaj u njihovoj muzici, tekstovima. Kombinujući sve to sa srednjovekovnim instrumentima stvaraju jednu ezoteričnu atmosferu uživanja. Svojim novim albumom Oinos podigli su sve na noge od oduševljenja i red je da naš Celtic - Slavic Webzine Serbia napiše svoje mišljenje o albumu.

Album konceptualno sadrži deset pesama. Samo fizičko izdanje je dobro urađeno. Cover fotografija ispunjava očekivanja. Booklet od osam strana sa tekstovima i prelepim ilustracijama. Besprekorno, nema šta! Prvi utisci su odlični i pušten je plejer. Album otvara Fodder for the raven, odličan početak. Na samom startu nas upoznaju sa njihovim svetom muzike. Jedna odlična melodija. Na putovanje nas vodi bubanj, hurdy-gurdy i tekst pun emocija. Nastavljamo numerom Tigino, gde osećamo sve veći uticaj srednjovekovne muzike. Opuštena i mirna melodija. Mi, uživamo i vrlo smo zadovoljni. Numera Amergin's chant, nastavljaju istim tempom. Bubanj nas uz zvuke grmljavine polako uvodi u pesmu. Mistično okruženje je oko nas i mi uživamo. Muzika je sve bolja i bolja kako album odmiče. Savršena melodija. Sledećom numerom Dekam Kwennos, opet stvaraju to mistično okruženje oko nas. Flauta nas vodi, a mi se potpuno prepuštamo. Istim tempom nastavljaju numerom Kurgan. Instrumental je u pitanju, a verovatno i najbolja pesma pesma na ovom albumu (lični utisak). Dok slušamo ovu pesmu osećamo potpunu slobodu i to je ono što joj posebnu draž daje. Ovo je bend u pravom smislu te reči. Bend sa dušom! Numerama Immrama i Idisi, vode nas kroz epohe antičke Iberije do srednjovekovne Španije. Numerom Ochlam, još jedan odličan instrumental je u pitanju. Melodija baš onakva kakva i treba da bude. Brza i melodična. Zadovoljni smo. Numerom Durbed, nastavljaju da se poigravaju sa muzikom. I, da, oni to tako savršeno rade. Opet nas vode kroz istorijska razdoblja Španije, a mi se bližimo kraju albuma. Poslednja numera Bosque y piedra, jedna skladna i umirujuća, savršeno za kraj.

Oinos, nije samo album koji se mora slušati, koji se mora posedovati. On predstavlja ostvarenje koje se oseća, remek delo grupe ljudi okupljenih oko muzike, koji nam još uvek nisu pokazali sve i koji će sigurno ostaviti velikog udela u Medieval-Pagan-Folk sceni. U to budimo sigurni!!!

Cuélebre - Oinos

Spanish Medieval-Pagan-Folk band Cuélebre, seeking inspiration in the landscape of the Iberian Peninsula and the mythology of time before the Romans. Celtic influence in their music, lyrics are definitely feels. Combining all this with medieval instruments create an esoteric atmosphere of enjoyment. With his new album Oinos raised all at the feet of enthusiasm and turn to our Celtic - Slavic Webzine Serbia write opinion about the album.
Conceptual album contains ten songs. The physical release is well done. Cover photo meets expectations. Booklet of eight pages with text and beautiful illustrations. Impeccable! First impressions are excellent and released the player. The album opens Fodder for the raven, a great start. At the very beginning we learn about their world of music. One great tunes. On the journey takes us to the drum, hurdy gurdy and text full of emotion. We continue the track Tigino, where we feel the increasing influence of medieval music. Relaxed and calm tones. We enjoy ourselves and we are very satisfied. The track Amergin's chant, continue at the same pace. Drum us with the sound of thunder slowly introduced into the song. The mystical environment around us and we enjoy. The music is getting better and better as the album progresses. The perfect melody. Next track Dekam Kwennos, again to create a mystical environment around us. Flute leads us, and we completely surrender. Continue at the same pace the track Kurgan. Instrumental in question, and probably the best song song on this album (personal impression). While listening to this song feel complete freedom and that is what gives it a special charm. This is a band in the truest sense of the word. The band that has a soul! Tracks Immrama and Idisi, taking us through the epoch of ancient Iberia to medieval Spain. Track Ochlam, another great instrumental in question. The melody and just as it should be. Fast and melodic. We are satisfied. Track Durbed continue to play with the music. And, yes, they both work perfectly. Again, take us through the historical periods of Spain, and we are nearing the end of the album. Last track Bosque y piedra, a harmonious and soothing, perfect for the end.
Oinos, not only album that has to listen, who must possess. It represents an achievement that is felt, a masterpiece of a group of people gathered around the music, which we still have not shown and that will surely leave a great role in the Medieval-Pagan-Folk scene. Be sure!!!

Španski Ur-Folk bend Àrnica, nastavlja da neguje keltsko nasleđe Iberijskog poluostrva. Svojom muzikom nas zadivljuju i u tome uživaju. Na jedan krajnje emotivan način vode nas kroz svet Keltiberije. Naše je samo da uživamo. Svojim novim albumom Lecho de Piedra, pokazali su šta znaju i umeju. Album sadrži dvanaest pesama i red je da naš Celtic - Slavic Webzine Serbia napiše svoje mišljenje o ovom albumu.

Album otvara Gigante Despierto, instrumental koji na jedan vrlo lep način započinje putovanje. Sledećom numerom Monte Nublado-Ladera, bubanj započinje i to je to. Gitara je tu i Àrnica nas vodi. Iako smo na početku, uživamo u verovatno najboljoj pesmi na albumu. Ovaj bend iz Španije stvara savršenu muziku. Mistični tonovi su oko nas. Numerom Uro, vode nas u svoj muzički svet. Osećaj je sve bolji i mi uživamo. Numerama Vall de Lobos i Trazos de Sangre uvode nas u ritualni poredak njihove muzike. Numerom Caminando Hacia el Sol, gitara polako nam otvara vrata i mi ulazimo. Unutra smo i stičemo utisak da sviramo zajedno sa bendom. Božanstveno je. Naše ushićenje ne prestaje. Jedna savršena melodija. Numerama Alzada Petrea i Dolmen Sagrado, shvatamo da je ovaj album prosto savršenstvo. Numerom Una Bestia Astada, bubanj sve jače se čuje, glas i mi ustajemo. Potpuno se prepuštamo tekstu pesme i njihovoj muzici. Srećni smo zbog toga. Ne primećujemo da već uveliko ide Caetra, a mi se bližimo kraju albuma. Numerom Monte Nublado-Cima, na miran i posve opušten način nastavljamo uživanje i prelazimo na poslednju numeru Las Plumas del Cuervo Vinilo. Melodija je malo brža, mi uživamo i završavamo preslušavanje ovog odličnog albuma.

Utisci. Àrnica-u slušam nekoliko godina i divim se njihovoj muzici. Volim mistiku u njihovoj muzici i tekstovima. Svakim svojim albumom podižu muziku na viši nivo. Ovim Lecho de Piedra dostigli su savršenstvo. Ako želite da doživite svet Keltiberije, brzo po svoj primerak albuma. Videćete da sam u pravu. Uživajte!

Àrnica - Lecho de Piedra

Spanish Ur-Folk band Àrnica, continues to investigate the Celtic heritage of the Iberian Peninsula. His music fascinates us and enjoy it. At one extreme emotional way lead us through the world of Keltiberia. We just have to enjoy. With his new album Lecho de Piedra, have shown what they can. The album contains twelve songs and turn to our Celtic - Slavic Serbia Webzine give its opinion on this album.

The album opens Gigante Despierto, instrumental, which in a very nice way to start the trip. Next track Monte Nublado-Ladera, drum begins and that's it. Guitar is here and Àrnica leads. Although we are at the beginning, we enjoy probably the best song on the album. This band from Spain creates the perfect music. The mystical tones are all around us. Track Uro, lead us into his world of music. The feeling is getting better and we enjoy. Tracks Valle de Lobos and Trazos de Sangre introduce us to a ritual order of their music. Track Caminando Hacia el Sol, guitar slowly opens the door and we enter. Inside we have the impression that we play along with the band. It's divine. Our elation stops. A perfect melody. Tracks Alzada Petrea and Dolmen Sagrado, we realize that this album is simply perfection. Track Una Bestia Astada, drum sounds great, voice and I get up. Indulge in the text songs and their music. We're happy about that. I do not notice that we already go Caetra, and we are nearing the end of the album. Track Monte Nublado-Cima, in a calm and totally relaxed way we continue to enjoy and pass on the last track of Las Plumas del Cuervo Vinilo. The melody is a bit faster, we enjoy and finish listening to this excellent album.

Beogradska super grupa The Father Of Serpents u sastavu Timur Iskandarov, Igor Lončar i Marko Mrčarica večeras su premijerno objavili svoj prvi spot za numeru The Walls of No Salvation! Svoju muziku definisu kao doom gothic metal. Nadajmo se da će i dalje nastaviti istim tempom i da ćemo u skorije vreme ugledati i njihov album.

U svakom slučaju našu podršku imaju, a vi dragi čitaoci uživajte u novom spotu, dok čekamo nove numere ovog jednog krajnje impozantnog benda.

Italijansko - hrvatski duo, J Orphic, koji čine Marco De Marco i Lucija Hrvat, izdao je svoj novi album Villa Ardita. Svoju muziku definišu kao Martial/NeoClassic. Fizički izgled se baš uklapa u martial žanr. Album konceptualno sadrži jedanaest pesama, nabijenih martial zvukom i duhom dvadesetog veka.

I red je da počnemo. Numera Mystic Chiose, otvara album. Na startu, već znamo šta možemo da očekujemo. Jak zvuk uz horsko pevanje uvodi nas u priču. Dobar osećaj. Sledećom We Are in the Desert Alone, ostavljaju nas same u pustinji, na milost i nemilost. To upravo i čini ova numera (lični utisak). I dalje ih krase ti predivni i jaki simfonijski tonovi. Mešavina različitih jezika je prisutna. Bubanj daje posebnu lepotu ovoj pesmi. Numerama Rebel Advance i Aurora Ventennale, nas navode na pobunu. Ustajemo i borimo se, dok nas njihova muzika vodi. Numerom Pripravite put Gospodinu, vodi nas glas Lucije Hrvat. Pesma se posebno izdvaja, barem meni, jer je na srpsko - hrvatskom jeziku. Kombinacija njenog glasa i horskog pevanja, čini me vrlo zadovoljnim. Numerom After the Victorious Battle, daju nam osećaj blaženstva, nakon veličanstvene pobede u bici. Numerama Teatro Nazionale i A Land Becomes a Nation, shvatamo da kada heroji žive, zemlja postaje nacija. Numerama Nuovo Congresso i Mandatory Law, polako privode kraju ovaj fantastični album. Za sam kraj ostala je poslednja numera MAS. Uz dark military zvuk ne ostajemo ravnodušni nakon preslušavanja poslednje numere.

Red je da obnovimo gradivo. Martial muziku dobro poznajem, ali za sav ovaj period nisam se susretao sa ovim projektom. Da, slažem se, jeste moja greška! Ovim albumom su me upravo uverili u suprotno. Italian - Croatian duo, J Orphic, which consists of Marco De Marco and Lucija Hrvat, released new album Villa Ardita. Their music is defined as Martial / Neoclassic. Physical appearance is exactly fits into the martial genre. Conceptual album contains eleven songs, charged martial sound and spirit of the twentieth century.
I turn to start. The track Mystic Chios, opens the album. At the start, we know what to expect. Strong sound with chorus introduces us to the story. A good feeling. By the following We Are Alone in the Desert, leave us alone in the desert, at the mercy. That's exactly what makes these tracks (personal impression). I still adorn these beautiful and strong symphonic tones. A mixture of different languages present. The drum gives a special beauty to this song. Tracks Rebel Advance and Aurora Ventennale, lead us to the rebellion. We get up and fight, while their music takes us. Track Pripravite put Gospodinu, lead us Lucija Hrvat voice. The song stands out, at least to me, because it is in Serbo - Croatian language. The combination of her voice and choral singing, makes me very happy. Track After the Victorious Battle, give us a feeling of bliss, after the magnificent victory in battle. Tracks Teatro Nazionale and A Land Becomes a Nation, we understand that when the heroes live, land becomes a nation. Tracks Nuovo Congresso and Mandatory Law, slowly coming to an end this fantastic album. In the end, the last track MAS. With dark military sound it feels great after listening to the album.

Martial music I know well, but for all this time I never met with this project. Yes, I agree, it is my fault! With this album I was just convinced of the opposite. Fans of martial music, if you have not already, do it quickly, get your copy of the album and enjoy!
